In a touching display of love and solidarity, a financial contribution collected through the “Karam Kodukkum Kaakkigal” (Helping Hands of Police) group was handed over to the family of late 2022 batch police constable Manikandan from Salem district.
Across Tamil Nadu, all 38 district groups came together, and with the support of 5,469 well-wishers, a total of Rs.17,62,150/- was raised.
Today, at Manikandan’s residence in Salem, the collected amount was formally handed over to his parents in the presence of admins from Salem, Thiruvannamalai, Dharmapuri districts, along with police friends from Salem.



Speaking at the occasion, the district admins said:
“When a police family is in grief, the entire police fraternity stands united. This contribution reflects the true brotherhood and humanity within the police force. The loss of a young officer like late Manikandan is a huge tragedy for the police department. But his family is not alone; we will always stand by them.”
On behalf of Manikandan’s parents, the district admins also extended heartfelt gratitude to all the police well-wishers who generously contributed to this noble cause.
