Haryana, Sept. 23, 2025 – Tamil Nadu Police has earned national recognition after one of its officers achieved top honors at the 74th All India Police Games held today in Haryana.
In the fiercely contested 85 kg Bodybuilding Category, Head Constable (Traffic) Purushothaman (32151), serving at J-1 Saidapet Police Station, Chennai, clinched the prestigious Gold Medal.
Purushothaman, who has served in the police department for several years, has been consistently passionate about bodybuilding and fitness. His relentless training, discipline, and perseverance enabled him to outperform strong competitors and secure the national title.
His victory has brought immense pride to both the Tamil Nadu Police and the state of Tamil Nadu. Senior police officials and colleagues have warmly congratulated him on this outstanding achievement.
