In a move to address and resolve the grievances of police personnel serving in Madurai city quickly and effectively, the Madurai City Police Commissioner has introduced a new initiative called the “Agham Scheme.”
As part of this scheme, a dedicated WhatsApp number — 9498181313 — has been created for police personnel to register their service-related issues such as pay increments, salary discrepancies, welfare fund matters, and house rent allowance adjustments.
Police officers working under the Madurai City Police limits can send their complaints to this number. All registered complaints will be resolved within five days, and the Commissioner of Police will personally review the status of pending grievances every week.
Police personnel of Madurai city are encouraged to make full use of this “Agham Scheme” to ensure speedy redressal of their concerns.
