To ensure that residents of remote areas under the Avadi Police Commissionerate can easily access police services at any time, three new outpost police stations were inaugurated today (19.09.2025) by Avadi Police Commissioner Mr. K. Shankar, IPS.
New Outpost Locations:
- ICF Colony – under T2 Ambattur Estate Police Station limits.
- Water Canal Road – under T3 Korattur Police Station limits.
- Surapet Velammal Engineering College Campus – under T4 Pudur Police Station limits.
Key Features:
Each outpost will have two Assistant Inspectors of Police deputed from the respective police stations.
Petitions received at the outposts will be acknowledged with a CSR receipt and duly inquired into for resolution.
The outposts will function 24/7 (round the clock).
Police personnel on duty at the outposts will assist and guide members of the public visiting the station.
