In view of the upcoming Muthuramalinga Thevar Jayanthi celebrations to be held at Pasumpon, elaborate arrangements are being made to ensure smooth conduct of the event. The annual celebration attracts thousands of devotees, political leaders, social organizations, and the general public from across Tamil Nadu.
To review the security and administrative arrangements, District Collector Mr. Simranjit Singh Kahlon, IAS, and District Superintendent of Police Mr. G. Santheesh, IPS, visited Pasumpon today and inspected the ongoing preparatory works.
During the inspection, they reviewed the arrangements related to security deployment, traffic management, parking facilities, crowd control, medical assistance, accommodation for visitors, and CCTV monitoring systems.


Later, the officials held a meeting with revenue, police, and various departmental officers, giving necessary instructions to ensure the safety and comfort of the public throughout the celebrations.
Senior police officers, revenue officials, and officers from various departments participated in the inspection.
According to the district police, adequate police personnel, traffic control units, and rescue teams will be deployed on the day of the celebration to maintain peace and order, ensuring the event takes place smoothly and safely.
