Ramanathapuram:
The monthly crime review meeting was held yesterday (17.09.2025) at the office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ramanathapuram Range. Senior police officers, station heads, inspectors, and personnel from Ramanathapuram and Sivagangai districts participated in the meeting.
The session was presided over by Deputy Inspector General of Police, Dr. P. Moorthy, IPS. During the meeting, crime incidents reported in both districts over the past month, progress of investigations, crime prevention strategies, maintenance of law and order, anti-narcotics measures, protection of women and children, and traffic regulation were reviewed in detail.
Later, DIG Dr. P. Moorthy, IPS honored police personnel from both districts who had excelled in crime prevention and investigation. Certificates of appreciation were presented to them in recognition of their dedicated service.
He further emphasized that all police officers must continue to work with honesty and commitment to strengthen public trust and ensure effective crime prevention.
