The new Sub-Divisional Administration Complex in Sakkarakottai, Ramanathapuram district, constructed at a cost of ₹89.70 crore, was officially inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. M.K. Stalin, via video conference.

The newly built complex includes residential quarters for police officers and staff, an armory, officers’ quarters, and a guest house, providing all essential facilities. Officials stated that the complex will enable the district police to operate more efficiently and effectively.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Deputy Inspector General of Police Dr. P. Moorthy, IPS, District Superintendent of Police Mr. G. Sandheesh, IPS, District Collector Mr. Simranjeet Singh Kalon, IAS, and Sub-Divisional Officer of the Tamil Nadu Special Police Force 12th Battalion Mr. Senthilkumar, who highlighted the features and significance of the new complex.

The new facility is expected to strengthen communication between police officials and the public, thereby enhancing overall district security services.
