In an effort to prevent road accidents in Kanyakumari district, fines are now being imposed on four-wheeler vehicles that do not have black (anti-dazzling) stickers on their headlights.

This safety initiative is being implemented under the instructions of District Superintendent of Police Dr. R. Stalin, IPS, and the supervision of Kanyakumari Sub-Divisional Police Officer Mr. Mahesh Kumar.

During nighttime travel, vehicles using high-beam headlights without anti-dazzling (black) stickers often cause glare, affecting the vision of oncoming drivers and leading to accidents. To reduce such incidents, it is now mandatory to have these stickers on vehicle headlights.

A Kind Appeal to the Public and Vehicle Owners:
If your vehicle does not have black stickers on the front headlights, please ensure they are applied immediately. Failing to do so will result in a fine.

Let’s follow traffic rules and build a safer, accident-free Kanyakumari.
