The state-level professional and sports competitions for Tamil Nadu Home Guards were recently held in Thanjavur district in a grand manner. Home Guards from various districts across Tamil Nadu showcased their talents and competed with great enthusiasm.
In the .303 Rifle Shooting category, Mr. V. Kanniyappan, Assistant Company Commander of the Vellore District Home Guards, exhibited remarkable skill and secured the Second Place. His achievement has brought pride and recognition to the Vellore District Home Guards unit.
At the same time, the constant guidance, motivation, and management provided by Mr. P. Sreedhar, Battalion Commander and Group Manager of the Home Guards, played a significant role in this success.
Acknowledging this remarkable accomplishment, Mr. A. Mayilvaganan, I.P.S., Superintendent of Police, Vellore District, personally congratulated Mr. V. Kanniyappan and Mr. P. Sreedhar and extended his best wishes. The Vellore District Police Department also issued a special note of appreciation to both officers.
