The All India Police Sports Meet was held in Jammu and Kashmir from October 8 to 16, 2025, in a grand manner. Police personnel from various states across the country showcased their skills and competed in different sporting events.
Representing Tamil Nadu, Villupuram District Armed Reserve Grade-I Police Constable Mr. Varun Kumar participated in the Karate event and, through his outstanding performance, secured third place, winning the bronze medal. His remarkable achievement has brought pride to both the Tamil Nadu Police Department and the Villupuram District Police.
In recognition of his success, Mr. Saravanan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Villupuram District, personally congratulated and felicitated Mr. Varun Kumar at a special event held at the District Police Office on October 22, 2025.
Armed Reserve officers and several other police personnel participated in the event and praised Constable Varun Kumar for his achievement.
Police officials stated that this victory serves as a source of motivation and inspiration for all police personnel serving in Villupuram District.
