Coimbatore, September 17:
At the Coimbatore Police Training School, the three-day yoga training camp organized for Western Zone police personnel concluded today.
More than 100 police personnel currently serving in the Western Zone took part in the camp. They learned various yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditation practices aimed at improving both physical and mental health.

The yoga sessions were conducted by Dr. Bodhivarthan, Founder of the Ramanamaharishi Trust. He emphasized that yoga is highly beneficial for reducing work stress, overcoming physical fatigue, and enhancing mental peace and body strength—especially vital for police personnel.
At the conclusion of the camp, Ivaa Cosmetic organized a skin protection and health awareness program. Officers were educated on the effects of sunlight, dust, and pollution on skin health during duty hours, along with preventive measures and protective care tips.
The event was jointly coordinated by the Kavalar Voice team. Organizers stated that the objective of such training is to ensure police personnel remain healthy, aware, and better equipped to serve society.
