The Tamil Nadu Police Duty Meet – 2025 was held with great grandeur at the Tamil Nadu Police Academy, Chennai, from 19th July 2025 to 4th August 2025. Police personnel from across the state participated in the competitions. In total, 72 medals and 14 championship shields were awarded, which included 23 gold, 22 silver, and 27 bronze medals.
In this meet, the Coimbatore City Police recorded remarkable achievements.
In the Photography category, Mr. J. Prasad, Senior Photographer, won 1 Gold Medal and 1 Championship Shield.
In the Bomb Detection and Disposal category, Ms. Murugeshwari, Woman Police Constable (1869), won 1 Gold Medal.
In the Dog Squad category, Mr. V. Madankumar, Head Constable (360), secured 1 Silver Medal.
Commemorating these victories, the Coimbatore City Police Commissioner congratulated the winners and highlighted that such skill evaluation meets not only enhance the professional efficiency of the police force but also strengthen their vital role in ensuring public safety.
