A total amount of Rs. 28,16,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Eight Lakhs Sixteen Thousand Only) collected by Udhavum Karangal 2003 Friends has been provided as the 83rd contribution to support the future welfare of the family of the late Mr. Manimuttu. The amount has been allocated and invested as follows:

  1. For Mrs. Vanithamani, wife of the late Mr. Manimuttu:
    An amount of Rs. 5,00,000/- has been invested in the Indian Post Office Monthly Income Scheme under Policy No. 020169476586, enabling her to receive a monthly interest of Rs. 3,080.
  2. For Mrs. Vanithamani:
    An amount of Rs. 4,00,000/- has been invested in the Kisan Vikas Patra scheme (to double on 12.03.2035) under Policy No. 020169476828.
  3. For Master Vijith, son of the late Mr. Manimuttu:
    An amount of Rs. 5,00,000/- has been invested in the Kisan Vikas Patra scheme (to double on 26.02.2035) under Policy No. 020169476667.
  4. For Master Vijith:
    An amount of Rs. 4,00,000/- has been deposited under the NSC VIII Issue scheme, which will yield Rs. 5,79,614/- in 5 years (on 26.07.2030), under Policy No. 020168071873.
  5. Family Medical Insurance:
    A three-year medical insurance coverage has been taken in Star Health Insurance for a premium of Rs. 40,500/- under Policy No. 2671112600059500.
  6. Remaining Amount Distribution:
    The remaining amount of Rs. 9,76,000/- (Rupees Nine Lakhs Seventy-Six Thousand Only) has been handed over as follows, based on the request of the family considering the parents’ age and the medical expenses they had incurred for Mr. Manimuttu:
    • Rs. 4,76,000/- to the parents of the late Mr. Manimuttu
    • Rs. 5,00,000/- to Mrs. Vanithamani

This completes the financial support extended to the family under the 83rd contribution of Udhavum Karangal 2003 Friends.
