Kanyakumari Woman Head Constable Krishnareka Shines Globally with Triple Gold at World Police and Fire Athletic Meet, Felicitated by SP Dr. R. Stalin IPS
Woman Head Constable Krishnareka, serving at the Mandaikadu Police Station in Kanyakumari district, has brought great pride to India by winning three gold medals at the World Police and Fire Services Athletic Championship held in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. The prestigious international event, organized jointly by the global police and fire service departments, took place from June 27 to July 6, 2025. Representing India, Krishnareka showcased exceptional athletic talent by clinching gold medals in three challenging events — High Jump, Triple Jump, and the 100-meter Hurdles — competing against elite athletes from around the world.

Her remarkable performance not only highlighted her individual dedication and discipline but also brought international recognition to the Tamil Nadu Police force. In honor of her achievement, the Superintendent of Police of Kanyakumari District, Dr. R. Stalin IPS, personally met and congratulated Krishnareka at the District Police Headquarters on July 18, 2025, lauding her for her commitment, excellence, and for setting a powerful example for women officers in uniform across the nation.
