A new Arasur Outpost Police Station has been inaugurated today at Arasur Junction on the Chennai–Trichy National Highway, under the Thiruvannainallur Police Station limits in Villupuram district.
The station was inaugurated by the Villupuram District Superintendent of Police Mr. P. Saravanan, IPS., who also planted saplings to promote greenery and launched the general diary at the new outpost.
Present on the occasion were Villupuram Sub-Division Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr. Ravindra Kumar Gupta, IPS., Thiruvannainallur Police Station Inspector Mr. Alagiri, and Sub-Inspector Mr. Balasingam.
The newly opened Arasur Outpost Police Station will have police personnel deployed round the clock on a rotation basis, ensuring the safety and security of the public.
